How to configure POP3 E-mail accounts in Outlook.
- Open Microsoft Outlook 2003.
- Tools – E-mail Accounts
- In the E-mail Accounts Wizard, select Add a new E-mail account and click Next
- In the Server Type wizard, select POP3 and click Next
- In the POP3 setting Wizard as shown in the Fig.
User Information
Your Name: Enter the name which you would like to display when other receives your mail eg: Technocrafter
E-mail address: Enter your e-mail address eg: info@technocrafter.com
Logon Information
Username: Enter the full E-mail address eg: info@technocrafter.com
Password: Enter your e-mails password
Check the Remember password box, if you don’t want enter password every time you check your mails.
Server Information:
Incoming mail Server (POP3): Enter the server name provided by the E-mail provider or ISP. Eg: http://webmail.technocrafter.com
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): Enter the server name provided by the E-mail provider or ISP. Eg: http://webmail.technocrafter.com
After filling check your account by clicking Check Account Setting.
If every thing is ok, you will receive a test E-mail.
