Use of Bcc

Use of Bcc.

To send a message to someone without other recipients of the message knowing, use the Bcc line in the message. Bcc stands for blind carbon copy. If you add someone's name to the Bcc line, a copy of the message is sent to that person, but his or her name is not visible to other recipients.

You can display the Bcc box in all new messages that you compose.
In a new message, do one of the following:

If Microsoft Word is your e-mail editor
Click the arrow to the right of the Options button, and then click Bcc.

If Microsoft Outlook is your e-mail editor
On the View menu, click Bcc Field
